As a result of its E3 conference, Nintendo has been critiqued heavily over abandoning the hardcore gamer therefor here I am, once again playing the devil's advocate. I have to say I find that kind of response peculiar as Nintendo may actually have the largest selection of hardcore first party titles available, while the DS has been an outlet for niche hardcore titles like the dungeon crawling roguelike Etrian and Shiren series.
